My career choice has been to become a member of the New Orleans Fire Department as a supervisor firefighter. We provide the citizens of New Orleans at fire aid, fire responder services as well as protect the property of our citizens from fire damage.
How long have you been in the business?
I’ve been a firefighter for a year now
What steps/avenues did you take to become successful? i.e. education, training, internships, etc.
First and foremost I’ve kept myself grounded with family and friends who are very supportive of my decisions. I completed and graduated the Municipal Training Academy for firefighters. The training was intense but God gave me the strength to make it.What are your goals for the future?I plan on taking the fire tech. courses in the spring after I get a few years of experience I would love to become a fire chief.
What/who motives you?
God, positive family and friends
Why do you think there are so many good, successful single men out there?
We black men have to strive for excellence in all aspects of life as we journey to educate ourselves and/or put our plans to become successful, we are often overlooked or taken advantage of. In my experiences of women they all have said I want a man to have something to offer than a cute face and a nice body. I have a career, my own vehicle, my own place, multiple bank accounts and my own identity and that’s not appreciated.
What type of companion are you interested in?
I would like to meet a God-fearing, confident, humble, stylish, profession, caring, affectionate, independent, loving, committed woman who is at thinking of kids and marriage. (no kids)
What is your ideal dating scenario? What are your pet peeves about dating?
My ideal date would be a nice picnic on the lake enjoying an intimate conversation and company of a beautiful woman. My pet peeves are loud, common, non-decision making women.
What would you like people to know about you?
I love life and love to enjoy myself. I’m passionate about my career. I am also involved in a mentor program. I love to encourage, help and motivate the youth of my city.
Anything else? Live your Life and Love the Lord

Michele Sitthiphong
MICHELE SITTHIPHONG, TAMPA, FL., MUSIC ARTIST MANAGER/BEAUTY CONSULTANT
Explain what type of business(es) you are in and what services do you provide?
I am currently in two types of businesses. Natural Health & SkinCare and Music. In skincare as a licensed Esthetician I can provide skincare services such as facials, chemical peels, waxing, and microdermabrasion. My role in the music industry is management. I am currently enrolled at FullSail University, getting my BS in Entertainment Business. While going to school I also manage an artist by the name of Durty, through my company CiTiiLyfe (lyfe meaning leading your future endeavors.) CiTiiLyfe can provide studio time, CD duplication, beats, songwriting, marketing, and promotion.
How long have you been in this business?
I’ve been in the skincare business for about 6 months and I been in the music business for a little over a year.
What steps/avenues did you take to become successful? i.e. education, training, internships. etc.
To become a skincare specialist I went through two years of schooling to get my AA in Natural Science with a concentration in Paramedical Skincare. I also took outside workshops to receive credits and certificates to maximize my training. While with the music, I took on the task not knowing anything about the Music Industry. Since day one I have been learning as I go. I viewed managing an artist as a new pathway set out for me to work in an industry that I love. I knew i needed to learn more about it, to allow me to make the best decisions that would be beneficial to my client, the company, and me in the future. That’s where I decided to get my BS in Entertainment Business. Prior to starting school the resources that I used and still use are books, magazines, and people already working in the business.
What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to be able to work with more clients as my business grows. I also plan on opening a world class spa retreat in a few years from now.
What/Who motivates you?
What motivates me is my past, present, and future. Without the experiences of my past I wouldn’t be who I am today or want what I want today. Learning and experiencing previous trials and tribulations have motivated me to take the necessary steps to pursue a happy and drama free future. Also knowing what I want out of life and what I can get out of life drives me to become a future success.
Why do think there are so many good, successful single men out there?
Because they work hard and focus on their self and don’t let anything get in the way of their happiness.
What type of companion are you interested in?
Are we talking about people or puppies?? lol… Right now I am not really focused on companionship, my main focus is my career, finishing school and tackling all my goals.
What is your ideal dating scenario? What are your pet peeves about dating?
To be honest I don’t date usually. But my ideal dating scenario would be us both having a lot of similarities on the creativeand musical side. I also like to learn so if we can teach each other new things then that is always constructive and valuable. My pet peeves about dating is talking to someone who is stalkerish, or stiff.
What would you like people to know about you?
That I love life, my family, music, and friends. Learning is one of my favorite things. You can never know enough. Knowledge is wisdom.
Anything else?
I just want the world to know that life is all about the choices you make. The cards you are dealt. How important it is to forgive, forget and move on. Life is what you make of it, you can take charge and become great, be a role model, and inspire the people around you. I love to read and my favorite section is the motivational and inspirational section at Barnes & Nobles. I may not be perfect by I try my hardest not to be second rate.
